I attended Dr. Man's graduation for his department (he "graduated" from his intern year and the Final Year residents graduated from residency). At this graduation I heard the best-est thing ever. When introducing a Male Final Year Resident (MFYR), the program director said:
"MFYR is a wonderful doctor who has helped build this program. Additionally, he is the recent father of young Amy there." Program Director gestures in the direction of MFYR's spouse, who is holding a really cute baby. "He is an excellent husband and father and we expect that he'll bring that excellency to Fellowship."
Pretty nifty, huh?
